Accounts & Subscriptions

Your account is for signing in; your subscription is for importing routes. Keep these separate when updating configurations or switching devices.

Do I need an email address to create an account?

No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. Use a unique password and save your username and login page in a password manager. After creating your account, open the user panel and confirm you're signed in to the right account before managing plans or subscriptions. Your username, password, and subscription link are separate credentials—store them separately, and don't use the subscription link as a login address. Since accounts don't require an email address, don't assume you can recover access by email; use the recovery options actually available in the panel.

Where can I find my subscription link, and how do I import it?

Sign in to the VPNRC user panel and check your plan status, then find the subscription link in your account overview. In your client, open subscription or configuration management and use the import option. Make sure the route list appears afterward. Copy the entire link without extra spaces or line breaks from chat messages. Once imported, select a route and connect; saving the configuration alone doesn't establish a connection. Your subscription link contains account credentials, so don't post it publicly or submit it to websites you don't trust.

How do I update my subscription link? Do I need to import it every day?

In your client’s subscription manager, find the existing configuration and select Update, then check whether the route list has refreshed. You usually don't need to create another configuration with the same name. VPNRC doesn't specify a fixed update interval on this page; update when routes change, your configuration is outdated, or the panel prompts you to. If an update fails, check your local network, plan status, and whether the link is complete. If the panel shows a new link, edit the existing subscription address or import the new one. Confirm the new configuration works before deleting the old one, so you don't accidentally select an inactive route.

Do I need to choose a new plan when I switch computers or other devices?

VPNRC has no limit on the number of devices connected at the same time, so switching devices alone doesn't require choosing a new plan. Sign in to the same account on your new device, get the client for that platform, import your subscription, and check the connection. System proxy permissions and background settings vary by device, so a working setup on one device doesn't mean the new one is configured correctly. Device count and plan data allowance are separate; check your data status in the panel. Before selling or retiring an old device, remove any saved subscription configuration and account information.

What should I do if my subscription link is exposed or a device is lost?

Sign in to the user panel and check for an option to reset your subscription or update its credentials. If one is available, follow the instructions, then update the subscription on the devices you still use. Deleting a configuration from one client won't invalidate links saved elsewhere, and changing your login password doesn't confirm that the subscription has been revoked. If you can't find a reset option, open a support ticket and explain that your subscription link was exposed or a device was lost. Don't paste the full link into your request, and redact credentials from screenshots to prevent further exposure.

Download clients and subscriptions through the user panel. Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux are supported. On all platforms except iOS, sign in to download the client; the iOS download option requires an active plan. After downloading, get your subscription and finish configuring the connection.

Connections & Troubleshooting

Check your local network, plan, configuration, and app—in that order. Keep the exact error message and change one thing at a time.

The client says connected, but websites won't load. What should I check first?

Disconnect the client and confirm your local network can still reach websites that normally load, then reconnect using an imported route. If your local network is working, check your plan status, selected configuration, and whether the system proxy or required network permissions are enabled. A connection indicator usually means the client has started working; it doesn't confirm that the destination website returned content. Try another website to see how widespread the issue is, then test a different route for comparison. Change one setting at a time and note the result—this makes the cause easier to identify than reinstalling and changing several settings at once.

Why does my browser work, but a particular app won't use the proxy?

Browsers and other apps may use different network settings. Some apps don't follow the system proxy or use their own connection method; client routing rules may also send an app's requests through your local network. Fully quit and reopen the app, then check the client's current mode and which rules apply. If the client has a mode that routes traffic from more apps, read its permission details before using it to troubleshoot; don't copy unfamiliar configurations. The app's own region, account, or service restrictions may not be resolved by changing the proxy.

Subscription import failed with an invalid-link error. What should I do?

Return to the user panel and copy the full subscription content again. Make sure you paste it into the client's subscription import field, not its search or login field. Check your plan status and confirm the import option supports the configuration format. If your subscription was reset, the old link may no longer work; use the link currently shown in the panel. If it still fails, note the exact error, platform, and step where the problem occurs, then contact support through a ticket. Don't share the link publicly or repeatedly submit it to unfamiliar online conversion tools.

My connection drops after the device sleeps or switches networks. Should I reinstall the client?

Don't rush to reinstall. Sleep mode, switching Wi-Fi networks, or system power-saving settings can interrupt an existing connection. Once your network is back, disconnect and reconnect the client, and make sure the selected route is still available. Update the subscription first if needed. If this only happens when the device is locked or asleep, check the system's background activity and network permissions for the client. Reinstalling may erase your configuration and useful troubleshooting information. First make sure your subscription is saved securely and routine checks haven't helped; then decide whether reinstalling is appropriate for the specific issue.

What information should I include in a connection troubleshooting ticket?

Submit a ticket through the user panel. Include your platform, the error shown by the client, the affected app, and whether the issue occurred before importing or after connecting. Mention whether your local network works, whether you've tried other routes, and whether the problem occurs only on a particular network. Screenshots should show the error and relevant settings, but hide your username, subscription link, and other sensitive information. Never include your login password. Clearly list the steps you've tried and their results to help narrow down the issue and avoid repeating the same troubleshooting steps.

Speed & Routes

Route labels help explain the connection path. Actual performance depends on your access network, destination service, and time of use.

Video buffers during peak hours. Should I switch routes or plans first?

Check your connection and route before assuming you need a higher data allowance. Pause large file transfers on your devices and check your local network. Then compare routes using the same video at the same resolution. Prefer a route that matches the target service's regional requirements, and check that the client rules actually send video traffic through it. Heavy traffic on the video platform, Wi-Fi interference, and congestion at the network exit can all affect playback. A plan's data allowance determines how much data you can use; it doesn't guarantee peak-hour speeds. Decide whether to change your setup based on what troubleshooting reveals.

How should I choose between IEPL, a relay, and a direct route?

These labels describe how a connection is routed, not a fixed speed ranking. IEPL refers to a dedicated transmission link; a relay routes traffic through an intermediate node; a direct route uses fewer intermediate hops. Your experience still depends on your access network, the network exit, the destination service, and time of day. Start with routes currently available in your client and compare connection stability on the same device and destination. Avoid changing the region, rules, and app settings all at once, or it will be hard to tell what caused the difference. Keep a route that works for everyday use, along with alternatives for troubleshooting.

How much coverage is available? Should I choose a route based only on distance?

VPNRC covers 90+ countries / 170+ routes. When choosing a region, first check whether the destination service requires a particular one, then consider your local network and actual connection quality. A nearby location doesn't necessarily mean a shorter end-to-end route; the destination server and network path matter too. For general browsing, try a suitable nearby region. For region-specific content or service eligibility, check the platform's requirements first. Routes are available through your subscription; update your configuration to see what's currently available. Don't rely on a region name alone to determine what a route can do.

Why is streaming content still different after connecting to a particular region?

Streaming content can depend on more than your network exit. Account region, content licensing, app cache, and the platform's detection methods can also affect what you see. Confirm that the app's requests are actually going through your selected route, then fully quit and reopen the app to check for a change. Don't assume a route will always provide access to a particular content catalog without testing it. VPNRC provides international routes; availability depends on the platform's current rules. If you contact support, include the platform, selected region, and error message, but never share your streaming account password.

An AI website loads, but API requests time out. Is this the same issue?

Not necessarily. Your browser and development tools may use different proxy settings, so a working website doesn't prove that API requests from a terminal or app use the same route. Check the network configuration in the calling tool, confirm the destination address, proxy method, and error type, then distinguish a connection timeout from an authentication failure or server error. Keep the network exit region consistent while troubleshooting so results are easier to compare. The target platform manages its own account eligibility, usage limits, and access rules. Redact API keys and sensitive request data before sharing a ticket or logs.

Billing & Refunds

Check your billing method before reviewing an order. Plan prices, data status, and payment records are shown separately.

What do monthly plans cost, and when does data reset?

Monthly plans are ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on the date you activate your plan; don't assume it resets at the start of the calendar month. Choose based on how you use your devices and the data records in your panel—video, file transfers, and everyday browsing use different amounts of data. VPNRC has no device limit, but device count and data allowance are separate plan details. Check the plan page for the price and billing terms before paying, then review your plan status and data in the user panel. A connection indicator in the client alone doesn't confirm your account status.

How do data packages differ from monthly plans, and what do they cost?

Data packages cost ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. They don't expire and can be used until the data runs out. Monthly plan data resets each month on your activation date, while data packages suit users who want to use data as needed. Compare the two billing options separately: a data package price isn't a monthly fee, and a package that never expires doesn't provide unlimited data. If you already have a plan, check the panel's information before switching billing options. This page doesn't assume that data from different products can be combined or stacked; contact support through a ticket if you're unsure.

Which payment methods are supported, and what should I do if my plan doesn't appear after payment?

Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT are supported. Pay through the order section in the user panel, and check the signed-in account, order amount, and order status. If payment is complete but the plan hasn't appeared, refresh the panel and check the original order. Don't pay again just because the client hasn't updated yet. Keep your order ID and payment record, then open a support ticket with the payment method, order status, and issue. Redact unrelated account information from any proof you share. Don't use payment addresses from unverified chat messages or submit your login password as payment verification.

How does upgrading a monthly plan mid-cycle work? Will I be charged twice?

When you upgrade a monthly plan mid-cycle, the price difference is converted into the remaining days. Go through the plan and order flow in the user panel, and review the amount due, target plan, and adjustment details before proceeding. Don't assume you should pay a fixed amount manually or transfer money based on the prices on this page. If the order isn't complete, check its status before creating another payment request. If the amount or term isn't clear, save the page details and contact support through a ticket. Don't try to fix your plan status by paying repeatedly.

How long is the money-back guarantee, and how do I request a refund?

VPNRC offers a 30-day money-back guarantee. To request a refund, sign in to the account used for payment and submit a request through the support ticket option in the user panel. Include the relevant order and what you need help with; the terms of service set out the applicable rules. If you're also having connection issues, you can include those details, but don't delay a refund request while waiting for troubleshooting. Add any requested information to the original ticket and check for a reply rather than opening multiple tickets with conflicting details. Submitting a request doesn't mean the refund has been paid; check the processing update and payment record for its status.
